Modification of the locking bolt for my 10-kg counter weight of my Trident P75 mount
The 10 kg counter weight has a 40 mm hole to accommodate the 40-mm shaft. A single 8-mm grub screw is employed for locking the counter weight to the shaft. However, the threaded hole is not oiled and the grub screw cannot be turned due to severe rusting. I am also not happy with the way to lock the counter weight directly with a grub screw.
Thus I decide to modify this lock by adding a brass rod between the counter weight shaft and the locking screw. This will result in a more reliable lock and less damage to the shaft.
