2023 March 06 Sun - A huge but very faint prominence on the SEE limb, in Ca-K
This huge prominences shows fine filamentary structures, and is observed to 'shorten' rapidly. By the time observation in H-alpha starts, this filament is not visible.
Sunspot count: group=12, sunspot=75, R=195
Telescope:
Baader Triband C9.25 solar telescope, 235 mm f/10 for close-up
Sharpstar AL80 II refractor, ED Triplet. 500 mm f/6.25 for whole-disc
Camera : ASI1600MM Pro, cooled to -11.0C
Filters: Lunt Ca-K module B1200
approximately north is up, east to the left.
