No.10 不是Nikon，這支鏡很 rare. 可惜已損壞不能用，只作收藏。
No.7 and 8 are really difficult, especially no. 8. It comes out to the market for less than one month only.

Yes, I am a bino freak, but I become a freak just because of you. I started interested in binos after reading your excellent and interesting reviews (why they disappear on the web now? That's an absolute loss of many people including me). You are my bino mentor. I am so grateful if I can have the chance to learn more from you.

I am still interested in binoculars but I was a little bit lag behind the market since I left Hk a few years ago. Now that I have a family and become more interestd in investment I pay less attention on binoculars. My default pair is Steiner 8x56 Ranger pro and Bushnell 8x32 Legend. For more serious observation, I would take Zeiss 8x56 FL or Sw 8.5x42 new EL.

You seems to have some interesting collection. I guess some of them werefrom ebay? Coz they are not available to Asian region.

Can you give me some hints on No. 7 and 8? Are they made in China or Japan or somewhere else? Is No.7 from Vortex optics?

No.7 and 8 are made in China but not available in China (interesting?). They are not Vortex. These models are comparable to SE optically (I would say 95% comparable) but at a lower price.

Yes, I used to buy used binos from eBay and Astromart from time to time, because I like the feeling of digging out treasures from the sea. Which models are not available in Asia region? I'm not sure.

I have not tried the Leica and Swar binos seriously and they are way out of my budget (well, I am also interested in investment but have much more experience of losing than gaining, so...). Hope I will have chance to compare them with my collection later.

Very close but not correct. I think they may be OEM products from the same Chinese factory, but 8 is not available from China. I get them from US (only). Try again.

Different binos have different features and may serve different purposes. If for watching skies and I suppose you have a tripod with you, I would suggest Fujinon FMTSX 7x50 or 10x50. 10x50 is better but more expensive. Both binos are very bright and have excellent resolution and light gathering power. However, they are heavy and you need a tripod for prolonged use. Handheld is fine if you have strong arms.
