Preview of web control
JPG files downloaded from camera to pi.
The hour (%H) of filename in preview files is the time of camera + your time zone, i.e. if my camera is set as Hong Kong time, when I took a photo at 00 hr, the preview filename is displayed as 8 am. The preview.jpg is the file copied from the latest downloaded JPG photo, but the file time is camera time - time zone, i.e. UTC time.
In preCap.sh, I changed the preview filename of "%H:%M:%S.jpg" to "%Y%m%d-%H:%M:%S.jpg" for both Nikon and Canon cameras. The preCap.sh is located in the "rootfs" partition, and under the folder of "/home/raspex/DSLR_control". To replace the preCap.sh of AstroEx with attached file, the following procedures are one possible option:
1. download preCap.sh.zip;
2. upzip the preCap.sh.zip;
3. Insert the microSD card with AstroEx to card reader;
4. in folder of "/home/raspex/DSLR_control" under "rootfs" partition, backup the preCap.sh to preCap.sh.bak;
4. Copy the upzipped preCap.sh to the folder of "/home/raspex/DSLR_control" under "rootfs" partition, and overwrite the preCap.sh of AstroEx;
5. Insert the microSD card the raspberryPi and switch on again.
if preview function fails, follow step 3, then delete the newly copy preCap.sh, rename the preCap.sh.bak to preCap.sh, then go to step 5 again to reinstate the original file.
The original PreCap.sh was saved as PreCap.original.zip.
