I reviewed my single up-processed H-alpha image taken on 2014-01-20 GMT18:59:21 and found the same already showed up quite "bright" before the above recorded by L. Elenin.

My imaging setup

Telescope : C-14 f.l. 4324mm
Camera : QHY22
Filter : 5nm Ha
Exposure : 1200sec
Location : ZhongShan, GuangDong

已變 super Nova ?

如果沒有塵埃消光，Type la會有8至9等! 十分可觀!

Pre-discovery survey images indicate sudden brightening from mag 17 to 14.4 in just one day started as early as from 2014 Jan 14-15.
