Dear Galaxy Zoo

If you haven't checked out the new http://www.galaxyzoo.org site yet, then you’re missing out on an early glimpse of more than 250,000 new galaxies.

Some of these come from the Hubble Space Telescope's CANDELS survey, providing us with our deepest glimpse of the Universe yet. The light from some of the galaxies you'll see on the new site has been traveling toward us for literally billions of years, allowing us to compare the Universe’s past with its present.

We also have a better view of that present than ever before. The new site includes a fresh crop of images from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, which supplied images for the first two iterations of Galaxy Zoo. These images are not only of galaxies which haven’t been seen before, but they include new image processing so that the faint details that help us disentangle their complicated history can be more easily seen.

We're excited to begin sorting through classifications of these new images, but first you need to go and get clicking. If you hurry, you might just be the first in history to see something truly remarkable.
