Asteroid occultation event on 2020 January 06

I've prepared finder charts from:
Digital Sky Survey (15 x 15 arcmin) and The Sky 6 (15x11 arcmin)

IOTA/IOTA-ES occultation update for
(148) Gallia / TYC 0196-01035-1 event on 2020 Jan 06, 17:24 UT
Visible from China, Russia


Summary
-------
On 2020 Jan 06 UT, the 92.7 km diameter asteroid (148) Gallia will occult a
12.1 mag star in the constellation Hydra for observers along a path across
China, Russia.

In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star
will drop by 0.49 mag to 11.43 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most
7.4 seconds.

This update is based on UNSO/Flagstaff astrometry for the asteroid kindly
provided by Hugh Harris, astrometry for the asteroid kindly provided by Bill
Owen, astrometry for the asteroid kindly provided by the IAU Minor Planet
Center.

This work has made use of data from the European Space Agency (ESA)
mission Gaia (http://www.cosmos.esa.int/gaia), processed by the
Gaia Data Processing and Analysis Consortium
(DPAC, http://www.cosmos.esa.int/web/gaia/dpac/consortium).
