A couple more photos here for Banff town centre, and Lake Louise
This trip can not be completed without visiting the Grand Canyons, It is a very important parts of the Rockies. I only had enough time to visit three of them. The Johnson Canyon is located in the Banff National Park which is the most frequent visited by tourist. The whole journey is about 3.5 kms divided into lower and upper falls. I went there very early in the morning shortly after sun rise and walked up to the upper fall. A very enjoyable and comfortable walking distance in the morning.
The second one is the marble canyon which is located in the Kootenay national park. This canyon extends deep under the ground. Should one fall into the canyon, there is no chance to survive at all.
The third one is the natural bridge canyon which is located in the Yoho national park. This is a much smaller scale canyon but again a very pleasant afternoon walk.
The last picture shows my last day in the park with the car. Rogers pass is the main entrance of the park which is located in the Glacier National park. According to the history, many people die in the past trying to overcome the blizzard weather in winter entering the Rockies.
