At that price, we can get a properly cooled astronomical camera.
It is the potential of Sony to alter their production line by offering monochrome FF sensors, allowing manufacturers to customize cooled cameras with these higher performance chips, opening another horizon from the very limited and old school Kodak sensors.
Both Canon and Sony have these capabilities, but a step to open it to the amateur astronomy community.
Those A7 and A7R are pretty advance in this digital era and cost effective, than the legendary brand names.
