Choose between canon cameras

Want to buy a 2nd hand canon for astrophotography
Seems live view is important...

how to choose between 450D, 1000D, 500D or 550D?

I believe all can shoot a good pic, but which one can get good result easier.

i preferred to 1000d for it's price,

but after reading that test result, although I don't understand what it's describing, seems 500D is much better judging from those photos.

I heard that noise is ~ proportional to the pixel size, (1000d and older models got larger pixel size), but why there are another story result form that test?

I guess you are talking about pixel density..
pixel density is (sometimes) different from pixel size
and pixel density is not the only factor to be considered...
how well the NR in the camera can preform...microlens on CCD/cmos may also affect
