After getting the ASI1600MM Pro from Wong Sir, I immediately set it up and test its functions, which runs fine.
However, when I set it up for solar observation in the afternoon, I am greatly disappointed by the profound Newton's Rings. Newton's RIngs certainly appear on my old Imperx 4M15 but the effect is not so significant. This time, the rings interfere with my images, rendering them almost useless.
Telescope: AP Starfire EDT 155 mm f/9.
stopped to 50 mm (f/28) for disc images, with 4X telecentric lens (f/36) for closeups
filter: Solar Spectrum SO1.5/0.3A with CERF prefilter
Camera: ASI1600MM, 4656X3520 pixels (3.8 micron)
