2017 November 29 Sun - AR12689
Observation was severely interrupted by clouds. Only a few close-up images of AR12689 captured, with no similar images of the prominences.
The filament on the NW limb is wholly off the solar disc, so is the eastern part of the huge filament near the E limb.
The sunspot consists of split umbrae, and several flares show up to the east of the sunspot. A filament cuts across the flare.
Further east, a broad stream of plasma is observed in the NE direction.
Telescope: AP Starfire EDT 155 mm f/9.
stopped to 50 mm (f/28) for disc images, with 4X telecentric lens (f/36) for closeups
filter: Solar Spectrum SO1.5/0.3A with CERF prefilter
