2017 May 28 Sun - Active Region AR12659
AR12659 is still producing many flare activities, together with radiating filaments which occupy a large area. The "white-light" sunspot image is taken with the H-alpha filter turned off, thus is not a true white-light image. Expect more fire-work eruption when this AR turn to the limb.
Telescope: AP Starfire EDT 155 mm f/9.
stopped to 50 mm (f/28) for disc images, with 4X telecentric lens (f/36) for closeups
filter: Solar Spectrum SO1.5/0.3A with CERF prefilter
Camera: Imperx 4M15
North is up, and east to the left.
