Thanks Wongsir for posting the picture for me.

Here is some more detail regarding the picture in the first post.
It is actually a composite of 6 photos.
The settings are as follows:
1: 1/15sec f8.0
2: 1/80sec f5.6
3: 1/160sec f5.6
4: 1/400sec f5.6
5: 1/640sec f5.6
6: 1/1250sec f5.6
All were done with canon 400d ISO400 and sigma 70-300 DG APO @300mm.
The photos were stacked and processed using Fitswork.

Although the plan was to use f8 and ISO100, when totality started, I panicked and ended up with f5.6 and iso400. The ISO400 noise limited the amount of processing I could do in the composite picture. It would have helped if I practised in advance.

We weren't prepared and did not get the tickets to YiWu, so we ended up in 白石頭. Totality was a little shorter but the sky was reasonably clear and the environment was nice.

印象中經過一片草原, 有處地方有個牌寫著"白石頭渡假村". 你們是在附近嗎? 經過時覺得那裡環境很好啊, 溫度也較涼快, 心想那裡晚上看星星很不錯, 還以為快要到達目的地.... 怎知往後就是.... 沙漠.... 沙漠.... 又沙漠....

原來那裡看到日全食? 那我們為什麼要去到那麼遠的荒漠去.... [搞自閉]
