Dear ATMs,
The unbalanced shape of the Ronci figure suggests that, I'm still not absolutely sure, the mirror may be subjected to astigmatism.
I suggest to examined the mirror surface by simple Foucalt method first to determine whether the surface is truely free of astigmatism.
Astigmatic figure can only be practically cured by returning to #2000 fine grinding and polish all over again.
Best regards
Chan Yuk Lun

Thanks for your concern.
I have tried to rotate the mirror to see the different. The Ronchi pattern keep distort in the same direction.
So, I guess it should more possible be the problem from the Ronchi grating than from the mirror.
Let me check it more properly tonight. I hope it's not really astigmatism la.
