小弟孤陋寡聞, 未聽過用凹面鏡(不論是球體或雙曲)作為副鏡的望遠鏡系統。

卡式望遠鏡, 不論施卡式(SCT)、馬卡式(MCT)、里奇-克萊琴式(RCT), 副鏡都等同一個倍增鏡(barrow), 所以都是用凸鏡的。至於是球面、雙曲面、還是什麼修正曲面, 是在乎製作的難易和效果中的彗差、平場程度兩者間的平衡。

Yes there exists such telescope with a concave secondary. This is called Gregory telescope, they produce erect images. They require an ellipsoid concave secondary mirror.

Such telesocpe are not common because they require extra long tube length.

I see. Thanks for the information.



According to the diagram, the secondary mirror is placed beyond the focal point of the primay (that is why it is so long). For a typical cassegrain, the secondary is placed well before the focal point of the primary.

So, I have two questions
1. Is Gregory-telescope still a type of Cassegrain?
2. Are there commercially available Gregory-telescopes now?

那種用凹面鏡做副鏡的叫格式鏡 (Gregorian 格高里式), 從前看望遠鏡設計的分類表, 它不屬於卡式類, 是獨立成一類的.

它副鏡是一個橢球凹面, 其中一個焦平面和主鏡的焦平面在同一個位置, 另一個焦點在主鏡後.

特點是焦距長、成像是正像, 這支口徑 4" 的鏡仔, 合成焦距比 C11 還要長:
