Dear ATMs,
As per schedule we finished another 2 hours of continuous rough grinding today. Instead of one man doing solo, two boys were enagged a push-pull arrangement in order to save energy and to increase efficiency.
They were powerful labors. After two hours of grinding a f/5.3 curve were obtained. The sagitta becomes 7 mm and 10 more cubic inch of glass was removed which makes up to a total glass removal of 64 cubic inches.
33 cubic inches of glass is to be removed in order to reach the f/3.5 goal. We expect to finish the rough grinding in the next 7 hours.

- Two boys were engaged into a push-pull arrangement for the rough grinding of the mirror. A third boy was feeding the mirror with carbo. This arrangement can save time and enhance efficiency.

Actually they enjoyed it since they can communicate with each other for TWO CONSECUTIVE HOURS during work. I really cannot imagine where else could they get such chance of facing each other for that long.
Again, don't trust their faces. They pretended to be in pain when I took the shot.
