新得 2.2版還有 人造衛星追蹤 ,
正式版本 U$36 有 250萬顆 TYC2 catalog 和 HIP catalog 和 8000多格星雲圖片
到 11.5~12等 分 HiRes和 LowRes ,

Astromist claimed that it can control the telescopes by Infrared. I think using infrared is bettet than bluetooth as after you power-off the palm, you don't have to reconignize the telesope again.

Any one knows how to connect the infrared-serial adapter to Meade's Autostar?

you need search "aircable" for BT , but I think many telescope GOTO system use RS232 not Bluetoolth , I think use RS232 is easy to use than BT . Infrade I don't think it cab be work . Infrade == RS232 + LED , but limit "narrow direction" , you must convert infrade to RS232 control telescope motor . as I know general telescope use RS232 ..

I already have the aircable and am using bluetooth to control my telescopes.

However, bluetooth has a big problem. Everytime my palm is power-off (or auto power-off) and then power-on again, you have to teach it identifying the aircable again. This is very undesirable. So, I guess using infrared may overcome the problem.

On the other hand, is there any way of setting my palm (Zire 72), so it can keep the connection with the aircable after power-off-on? That will also solve the problem.
